I read your sands page on the web and thought you might like to hear about some more singing sands in California. The Eureka Sand Dunes in the Mojave Desert also sing when they slide, a deep booming noise. They are also the highest sand dunes in America at over 720 feet high.
Very pretty, and with some flowers that grow nowhere else in the world. They are situated in Eureka Valley, just an hour east of Big Pine on Highway 395.
