is KOINOURA-beach in Tsuyazaki, northern Fukuoka-Prefecture,
Kyushu, Japan. There was the beautiful beach where colorful shells and clean musical
sand gathered .The reason why is called "KOINOURA (love beach)"...
It was about 370
years ago, A pair of happy lovers who called Senkichi and Kayo lived
in the Tsuyazaki. One day that they were looking forward to their wedding, Yoshin
duke who was an uncle of NAGAMASA Kuroda (Chikuzen feudal lord),
he had dirty love to Kayo when he happened to stop by her home. Then, he
ordered his vassals to bring her to his residence. It was not long before,
a small boat that had nobody on board drifted on the waves in the offing of Kyodomari,
Tsuyazaki, and a strip of fancy paper was leaved in the boat. The
wave coming in the beach of Tsuyazaki will go out soon, but our love have
no way but going out of this world. --Senkichi and Kayo--

Centuries have passed since
the tragic tale of Senkichi and Kayo, and KOINOURA became
such a miserable beach in 1979. And I'm told that the beach was concreted for
shore protection works and a golf course development. Nobody will
see the desolate beach again... gEJ̔ߗꂩ琔Io1979N̗̉ÝÂ悤ȌeȂȕlɂȂĂ܂B
